Phuntsholing, also spelled as Phuentsholing, is a border town in southern Bhutan and is the administrative seat of Chukha District.  The town occupies parts of both PhuentsholingPhuentsholing Gewog and Sampheling Gewog.

Phuentsholing adjoins the Indian town of Jaigaon, and cross-border trade has resulted in a thriving local economy.  The town previously hosted the headquarters of the Bank of Bhutan before they were shifted to Thimphu. In 2017, Phuentsholing had a population of 27,658.

 

彭措林 是 不丹王國 第二大城市，位於 不丹 西南部，也是 楚卡宗 的最大城市。位於 不丹 與 印度 的邊界附近，平均海拔229米。 彭措林 距離 首都 廷布 179公里，是不印公路的交通樞紐 和 不丹 通往 印度 的南大門，與 印度城市 熱崗（Jaigaon）僅有一街之隔，形同一市。

建築與文化
彭措林 的 印度–不丹 邊界清楚地劃分了兩個截然不同的民族和文化。 跨越邊界即是 印度 的 賈伊加奧恩，它面積更大、更熱鬧，類似於許多其他 西孟加拉邦商業中心，儘管有許多不丹購物者。彭措林 是 不丹金融、工業和貿易中心，比起其他 不丹城鎮 更具城市特色。它受到了鄰國 印度文化的影響，但明顯比其鄰國更安靜、更有秩序。

經濟
大部分貨物通過 彭措林 進入 不丹，使該鎮成為 不丹 與 印度 進行貿易的門戶。與 中國 的邊界已關閉。
